Service

Bike Beacon provides informational live lookups and alerts based on saved schedules, optional third-party Calendar data, and bikeshare data. Availability can change rapidly and results or alerts may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Always follow local rules and use your own judgment before traveling. Bike Beacon is an independent tool and is not sponsored by or affiliated with Capital Bikeshare.

Early access and invitations

By affirmatively joining early access, you ask Bike Beacon to email you when automatic alerts open and to send occasional pilot updates. Pilot invitations are limited, may be bound to a particular Google account, expire, and may be revoked. An invitation permits onboarding but does not guarantee uninterrupted access or live message delivery. You can unsubscribe from email at any time by emailing support@bikebeacon.app.

SMS consent

By verifying a phone number and enabling alerts, you agree to receive recurring informational SMS from Bike Beacon based on the days and times or Calendar rules you save. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, START to resume, or HELP for help. Only enter and verify your own authorized number.

Acceptable use

Only connect accounts, calendars, and phone numbers you are authorized to use. Do not share private invitation links beyond their intended recipient, abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use alerts for unlawful activity.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, Bike Beacon is not liable for decisions made from schedules, Calendar data, station data, or delivery data.
